Blue Water Bridge Crossing Indefinitely Postponed

June 21, 2010

The Blue Water Bridge Crossing has been indefinitely postponed at this time. Click here for full story.

The Bridge Crossing for 2010 has been cancelled at this time.
Due to the bureaucratic red-tape involved with organizing this event, which crosses an international border, the event has been indefinitely postponed. We hope to work out another crossing with the Canadian officials in the future. The Canadian side currently has construction projects underway and did not want to deal with the tractor crossing event at the same time. A lot of effort went into trying to get the event approved and set up again for this year, but it just did not work out.
We have planned a tractor show and tractor drive for the August 6 and 7. The show will be held in Wadhams in the same location as the bridge crossing started last year. The car show will also be held at the same time.
The tractor drive will be Saturday, August 7 at 10:30am starting at Port Huron Northern High School on Krafft Road and will finish at Vantage Point (South end of Port Huron). Tractors can be unloaded at the school and trailers can be taken to Vantage Point where drivers will be bussed back to the school. If you have any questions call Dick Lane at 810-385-5667 or 810-334-6516.

Again, we are sorry that the Blue Water Bridge Crossing for 2010 had to be cancelled and we hope that it will work out where we can hold this event again next year.
